I am currently adding function and groups as standalone models that we tie the Material to. In the process I need to clean up the current DB Entires. We have quite a large amount of materials that belongs to group IMS and have function Dielectric, however Insulated Metallic Substrate (IMS) is not defined as a group as part of our language. Which group and function should this belong to?
How should we treat materials with heat dissipation functions?
That is a good question Fredrik Holst . When you buy them, these materials have three type of layers: Copper, the insulation layer and "metal". If we only talk about the insulation layer, then thickness, heat dissipation and glass transition are the main key values defined by users. But, there are morte values that could be specified.
Then we have the metall, which needs to be specified separately. As example, Aluminium have several grades that needs to be specified.
Which parameters do we need to have in CD? Anyone in the group that have detailed knowledge about this? Do we have a standard and slash sheet reference for the insulation layer?
